When you hear the word theocracy what comes to mind? Do you think of Rule Under God? Or do you think about a tyrannical dictatorship of men in God's name? The actual definition of theocracy is, "Government by God." Similarly, when you hear libertarian you probably think of anything goes or lawlessness even. However, the definition of libertarian is the wish to abolish government down to a minimal size or to marketize (place as Market functions) State functions. Even Anarcho-libertarians believe in the need for law enforcement and a legal code. Thus, the Anarcho-Thenonomy movement.
The direction I would like to see us move in is towards a Christian Theocracy using libertarian means. Meaning moving towards a Christian Nation via means of removing as much unjustified State functions as possible. To support all removal of coercion outside that which is needed to have a morally justified use of it. For some that would be a Stateless Society that enforces God's Moral law as its legal code. For others such as myself that would be a minimal and highly decentralized State with localities/State's Rights/Provincial Rights enforcing most of the law. No Alphabet agencies, and, not event taxes if we can finance the government through other means.
The legal code behind when force will be justified will be God's Abiding Moral Law. Not Man's Law. Thus the term theocracy. A Christian Theocracy because Christianity is The One True Religion. All others are false Doctrines of Demons straight out of the pits of Hell itself.
