In an article I recently brought up the data showing that sexual abuse based trauma can be one pathway to LGBTQ identity. Within that article I linked to LGBTQ affirming meta analyses which found an actual connection between at least some cohorts of LGBTQ people and their being traumatized prior to feeling SSA.
I found another article from an affirming site The Good men project. However, it speaks outside both sides of its mouth. In one breath it acknowledges SSA found to be brought on in certain men from trauma as a way of dealing with sexual abuse. Yet, denies in the very same article trauma processing had any link to same sex behavior in people currently in the LGBTQ community.
I know for a fact there are people identifying as LGBT whom had a pathway from trauma. It should not be denied that SSA and Transgenderism can be due to needing trauma processing. If you are affirming just admit it. Denying it makes the LGBTQ seeming to have an agenda of some sort and does not help them.
