Their Trinitron picture tube was a universally well received technology and made a number of important improvements on the standard color picture tube. This is the story of its creation. **The trinitron CRT wasn't impervious to Moire patterns. However, it was less prone to them because of the lack of a phosphor grid. Vertical misalignment could still occur with the aperture grille, so moire patterns could still appear on patterns with strong vertical stripes. Transgender policies are being promoted across the nation, but how will those policies impact women? Hands Across the Aisle is a coalition of diverse women who joined forces to stand in solidarity, despite their political differences, against gender identity legislation, which they have come to recognize as threatening the civil rights of women. These women spoke at a February 16, 2017, event arranged and hosted by The Heritage Foundation and co-sponsored by the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute. They are: Miriam Ben Shalom -- educator and activist who made history for being the first person to be reinstated to the military after being discharged from service for being openly lesbian. Kaeley Triller Haver -- rape survivor who serves as a Communications Director for the Just Want Privacy Campaign in Washington State. Kami Mueller -- CEO of the Mueller Group, a communications firm in North Carolina who played an integral role in the communications efforts defending the state's controversial privacy law (HB2). Mary Lou Singleton -- midwife and feminist who is an active member of the Women's Liberation Front (WOLF), the radical feminist organization that filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration to restore Title IX rights to women and girls. Emily Zinos was unable to participate in this event due to a family emergency, but her prepared remarks were shared. Emily is a stay at home mom who works with the Minnesota chapter of the Ask Me First campaign, a project sponsored by the Family Policy Alliance to defend the safety and privacy of women and children.

The Medical Harms of Hormonal and Surgical Interventions for Gender Dysphoric Children

When it comes to treating young people who believe they are the opposite sex, who either suffer from gender dysphoria or self-identify as transgender, physicians have been instructed by their professional associations to provide "affirmative care." Transition-affirming therapies are virtually untested and inflict lasting harms: decreased sexual function, increased health risks, and sterility, just to name a few. Instead of providing parents with medical information and evidence-based studies, parents are told that these risky treatments will prevent their child from committing suicide, blurring the line between “informed consent” and “coercion.”

The Inequality of the Equality Act: Concerns from the Left

Who could be against a law that promises equality and bans discrimination? Parents who’ve already experienced grief, despair, and witnessed medical harms as they attempted to get help for their gender-confused children. Medical experts concerned about how adding "gender identity" into civil rights law would cause physical and psychological harm. People who have transitioned, and then detransitioned, concerned with what this ideology will do to children. Lesbians who have been punished for having the audacity to say that men are not women. Radical feminists concerned that nearly all sex-segregated spaces, colleges, sports, dormitories, and women's rights in general will disappear if “gender identity” becomes a protected class and the dangers this poses to women and girls.

There is no such thing as anything other than 2 sexes/biological genders.

There are so many people out there that spout off nonsense about how they can be neither male or female and these delusional ignorant people really think this is the case. However, they are being unscientific and come off rightfully so like the loon that thinks he is Napoleon. You are either male or female either by birth or through sex reassignment. All entities within the mammalian type of species of which we evolve evolved into male and female. We are all either male or female from the moment we get our DNA and the moment our fetus began developing. There is no non-gender gender when referring to male or female. 

Just because you have some unique temperament does not mean you are not one of the genders AKA male or female. You are of either biological sex whether accepting of your biology or desiring to be the opposite. There is no 3rd or 4th biological entity. Intersex is not a different gender it is a disorder of sex development before birth. If you are quote-un-quote non-conforming that does not make you a biological entity different from your constitution or DNA. It means you have a possibly atypical temperament it does not mean you are not a boy or a girl. It does not mean you have the brain of the opposite sex either. It simply means you are, well, you.

Within your DNA you are something either male or female. There is nothing else that you could be as that is how sexual reproduction and the continuation of the species takes place. You either are coded as the giver of swimmers or as the that which is swam into. Even if you do not feel congruent with that you are that on a biological level. We humanize and rightfully so gender dysphoric people, but, these people are not nothing and not no gender. They are identifying with the opposite sex there is still only two options. It is as binary as the code running this blog... 0 or 1 male or female. It is one or the other or it is a known disorder of sex development. Even intersex is not being male or female it is being born with the genital of each of the two in one entity. 

You are limited to two choices the birth gender/sex or transsexualism/transgender/GID persons whom is transitioning from one to the other. However, there is one or the other and not a third option. You either stay as you were handed by nature your birth sex or the opposite. You only have two options because there is only two options in our species. A human of one kind can only transform into another human of another type. You cannot be non-human and to eschew any sort of gender or sex at all is to want to not be human. To want to get outside not a birth sex, but, outside a sex period. Outside of a living human entity at all. It is to long for nonexistence and I would argue a call for help in need of professional assistance.

In 2009 Canadian-born director and producer, Brent Leung, released the film ‘House of Numbers’. The documentary consists of interviews with scientists and AIDS denialists discussing the link between HIV and AIDS, the severity of AIDS in South Africa and, unbelievably, whether or not HIV exists at all. Brent claims that the documentary gives an “objective examination of the idea the HIV causes AIDS” but nothing could be further from the truth in this sneakily edited piece of propaganda. Myles Power | Exposed: Fake Ugandan Red Cross Medical Trial That Fed People Bleach

What was once known as Miracle Mineral Supplement, but for legal reasons had to change its name to #MiracleMineralSolution (MMS), is a 28% sodium chlorite solution in distilled water currently being sold online as a cure-all tonic. Jim Humble, the man who coined the name and who is also the self-styled Archbishop of his own church (Genesis II), believes that once “activated” by an acidic solution, MMS can be used to cure people of our most feared illnesses including HIV, cancer, and malaria. Chlorine dioxide or any other of the chemicals found or generated using MMS are not panaceas. There is no way of them to specifically target the source of any of the many things Jim is claiming they can. They will simply react with whatever they come into contact with, which can lead to some very unpleasant side effects. Even ingesting relatively small quantities of these toxic compounds can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.  However, Jim, and others who promote the use of MMS, does not necessarily believe this is a bad thing. In higher doses, MMS can cause renal failure, hemolysis (a rupturing of the red blood cells), and even death. Yet, despite these well documented side effects, MMS is still being promoted online and, in recent years, has picked up steam by claiming to be a cure for autism in children. A “bishop” in Jim’s church named Kerri Rivera wrote a book called ‘Healing the Symptoms Known as Autism’ in which she recommends not only giving autistic children hourly doses of MMS, but also advocates the use of MMS enemas. It should come to no surprise that giving a child an enema of what is essentially bleach will damage the lining of their bowel. Recently a video called “LEAKED: Proof the Red Cross Cured 154 Malaria Cases with MMS” that apparently shows a clinical trial organised in cooperation with the Ugandan Red Cross Society and the Water Reference Centre in Uganda back in 2012. It is alleged that the trial was designed to investigate MMS’ ability to cure those suffering from malaria. In the video, it is claimed that over 143 people tested positive for malaria and all were cured within 48 hours. Just as we know that every perpetual motion device is fake without looking into it, we know there is no possible way that MMS can cure malaria. Yes, we might come across incredible discoveries that change the way we look at the world, but we are not going to wake up one day and realise that the Earth is cube shaped. There is no possible way for MMS to cure malaria and, unlike most other snake oils out there, it poses a real threat because it’s an industrial bleach. With the people involved being reluctant to release any more information about the “trials”, we may well never know what really happened back then 100%, but I think I clearly shown in this video that their experiment was fundemently flawed that it shouldn’t be taken seriously. In the early hours of April 15th, the British passenger liner RMS #Titanic, owned by the White Star Line, collided with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. At the time, some believed the ship to be “practically unsinkable” because of her system of watertight compartments, of which four could be flooded and the ship would still remain afloat. However, the iceberg tore a series of holes along the side of the hull, flooding six compartments, which sealed the ships fate. Less then three hours after the collision, Titanic would lay at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean…or did it? There is a rather fascinating and compelling #ConspiracyTheory that Titanic was switched with her sister ship, Olympic, and was purposefully sank as part of an insurance scam!

Objectivism is it a closed or open system? Case Closed

I have written on previous Objectvism based articles that there is two different ways to look at the philosophy. One way being that it is a closed system and cannot have anything added or removed to it. The other way is as an open system open to change and revision while still being called Objectivism. Some people think the split is only about associating with libertarians, but, that is not the case it is two different ways of looking at the philosophy as a whole. However, what is the correct answer? Is it an open system open to revision, change and new additions? Or is it a closed system and only The Philosophy as discovered/espoused by Ayn Rand nothing more or less?

No matter where I fall I will turn off people whom have their own stance on the matter in the debate. First of all I need to clarify that if Objectivism is a closed system it does not make it dogmatic, insular or intolerant to other points of view. It does not justify those whom misunderstand Objectivism and treat it like a religion or even a cult. It simply means it is what it is and nothing more nor less. It means that things like benevolence being added as a separate virtue from justice is not correct to the philosophy. It does not excuse forgetting about benevolence and good will as being a form of justice for those around us. It does not mean one loses all form of empathy and sympathy for others. It also does not mean pushing it down peoples throats like religious evangelicals.

It does not mean either that one takes Objectivism as all of philosophy or anywhere near the whole of philosophy in general. It does not mean you even are an Objectivist or agree with the philosophy. It does not mean you get to become a bully that calls anyone that dares to misunderstand Objectivism as evil. It does not even mean you need to not associate with people that take an Open view even if said view is incorrect. It does not mean bashing classical liberals that use other means to their ends. It does not mean that you call every single atheist that disagrees with your views as deluded or irrational. Nor does it mean that you call people suffering from the delusion of a creator to not be fully human for not using reason thoroughly on their own views.

Nor does the closed view require that you be Peikoffinst that takes anything and everything Leonard Peikoff as Objectivist Gospel. Nor does it mean you need to listen and believe that Peikoff is the often sited intellectual heir to Ayn Rand and authoritative on anything either. Nor does it mean you need to agree with the Ayn Rand Institute on any particular matters. In fact, to consider Peikoff to be hair without any evidence from Rand herself in writing or audio/video evidence is in fact saying Objectivism did not consist of only the philosophy discovered/espoused by Rand. It is in itself an Open view disguised as the closed system.

Objectivism is a closed system it is what it is. I agree 110% with this classic episode of Philosophy In Action which I think case closed on the idea that Objectivism is an open system. Objectivism is the philosophy for living a flourishing life on Earth as discovered by and espoused by Ayn Rand in her philosophical based writings. Anything else discovered afterwards is not the Objectivist-this or Objectivist-that. Objectivism the philosophy is a closed system whose ability to alter fundamentals or core virtues and concepts died when Ms. Rand died. Even the so-called Intellectual Hair whom has never been proven as such Peikoff cannot add anything to it nor speak about it with any authority. Reality is the authority per Objectivism's own ethics and Ms. Rand herself in her own writings.

To quote Diana Brickell from the above linked episode of Philosophy In Action;

 The "closed system" view of Objectivism just asks that people respect Ayn Rand's philosophy as her own creation – and differentiate it from their own or others' ideas. Contrary to the advocates of the "open system," that approach doesn't lead to insularity, dogmatism, or intolerance.

Nowhere in the definition of Objectivism as a closed system does it say you need to agree with ARI and Leonard Peikoff. Nor even that you need to agree with Yaron Brook or anyone else on any given matter. Objectivism has a core virtue of independence which means just because someone else also is an Oist does not mean they are automatically right or automatically to be trusted. It does not mean you Worship Ayn as a Goddess or engage in the less than hospitable behavior of her old "collective" inner circle. It simply means Objectivism is Objectivism and that is it A=A.

I also echo Diana in saying that one being an Objectivist or not is not a good measure of a person being nice or reasonable. Nor is it that you can live a life that is full by isolating yourself unless you are around other Objectivist. That would be the worst thing you can do and it is mentally harmful to only deal with people whom you ideologically agree. Look instead for people of good character regardless of their views on your own ideas.
