Doug is correct that the answer to all our issues is to concentrate on spreading The Gospel. As well as using force when justifiably nessecary. The question is not whether force is used, but, when, in regards to what and how it is used. Of course the primary thing is to spread The Gospel which is peaceful enterprise. Yet, at some point someone is going to be using force, even if only defensive force. It is still use of the force when nessecary.
We cannot deny that force is required at some point. Even if you think that would be better provided in a freed market of protection. I understand force will eventually be used when all else fails to stop lawlessness. Murray Rothbard; Mr. AnCap himself said a stateless society requires people agreeing to a legal code of defensive force against those whom initated unjust force. With each freed market of protection agreeing to the NAP as a legal code.
I am with Rothbard that if there is no shared morality around when force is justified a stateless society does not work. Thus even using the minimalist argument of the Non Agression or Coercion principle is still a moral code backed by nessecarily justifiable force. I would change that moral code to be God's Standard as found in The Ten Commandments Table Two and The General Equity thereof in both Old and New Testaments.
I also share the view that a state limited to that goal is also a moral equivalent to a stateless society. Something that Murray Rothabard also stood for defending both limited government lassiez-faire and anarcho capitalism. If the State was doing its job of rewarding good and punishing evil I would not in anyway wish for it to do anything other than what it was doing. Nor would I condone any form of Christian Anarchism against such a State.
Right now we have no Christian Compatible parties that have any reach at all. Thus, the State is being used to reward evil and punish good. Thus we have two routes. One being to elect as many Confessional Christians as possible to the positions in the Civil Magistrate. The other to use what liberty we might have to create Christian Communities. Both are Tools in a person with a Biblical Worldviews belt.
However, if the Christian Heritage Party had any possibility of getting elected I would be most closely aligned politically with that party and their views on most things. I have been thinking about whether I want to join them as I can no longer support The Conservative Party of Canada. The Canadian People's Party has all the worts of Pierre's Conservatives. Maxime Bernier marched in Public Abomination Parades and refuses to vote against Fetuscide.
