A tax on "carbon" is a tax on life. Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant, but according to the ruling class, the fact that we - by the very act of breathing - produce it, effectively makes US pollution.

Never mind that carbon dioxide is plant food and is essential to life on this planet, we must pay penance for our very existence to the elites that jet around the world expounding upon the dangers of global cooling, er, global warming, um. . . wait (I’ve got it now): “climate change”.
