Many people get pushed into supporting lassiez faire markets as a default economic position of being Theologically conservative and Biblical in their politics. This is because lassiez faire Libertarian and Objectivist ideology has so infested the right wing of politics since the rise of Neo-Liberalism on the Right. However, being economically Libertarian is not the samething as being conservative and especially not Christian Conservatism.
For one thing Conservativism is not against all regulations. It is against over regulation and red tape. Not against markets having regulations. For example; health care and environmental sector regulations. In addition, there is no way to be anti regulation or market bans and support the eradication of things such as, the Homicide of the Pre-Born child, Drugs, Sex Industry or other socially conservative positions.
Further more Neo-Liberal and broader Lassiez faire Economics is geared towards making World markets at the expense of removing market sovereignty. Which means the ideas are incompatible with Nationalism and Sovereignty of the Local economy. Which means it tends to support internationalism and breaking down borders leading to an Open Border policy. Leading to pro Globalism and Globalisation support from the Right.
It also supports socially liberal policies with the correct assumption that you cannot have social conservative positions and a lassiez faire market. To quote of all people Ayn Rand, "libertarians ( and Neo-Liberals) are hippies of the right." They have an Unbiblical live and let live view which is incompatible with Christianity and Christian Conservatism. We should not be listening to people whom have no objective morality for economics advice we should steer clear of them at all costs.
