As a card carrying member of The Conservative Party I plead with you and make a request on behalf of your socially conservative base. As well as Christian Conservatives all over Canada I need to let you know that your changing from embracing and accepting of social conservatives to affirming the lefts social agenda is disturbing and losing support for you among our group.
There was a time when social conservatives felt at home in your party despite us not always getting legislated things to go the way of social conservatives. As a Biblical Christian I find your endorsement as a Party of Abortion. As well as jumping into the LGBTQ affirming side of the pool to be quite disturbing. It is one thing to personally be pro choice or pro LGBTQ, but, to force support of these things onto Canadians as a Party is very disturbing and frankly not very conservative.
This is disturbing to see of the Party that once allowed people against Same Sex Marriage and whom were Pro Life to have their voice be heard. There are also issues with your idea of buying into the need to have a price on Carbon. This is pushing the Climate Catastrophic views onto your members and voters. We have issues with the leftist drift that has occurred under the current Leadership. We are worried that soon there will be very little to distinguish your party from The Liberals.
