Recently a friend of mine pointed me towards a Spotify channel called "Gay Pride Radio." I have kept going back and listening to it after work for the last couple weeks now. I must say I do really enjoy the music on the channel. In fact, it makes me think about how I used too go out dancing all the time on the weekends at one time. It brings me back the better memories from my past with going to the dances. Outside of all of the toxic parts and the negativity. The time while I was on the dance floor just zoning out.
It is mostly dance club sorts of tracks and includes a ton of techno music as well. It is just the sort of thing I used too dance to all the time. In fact, I find myself dancing on my bed like a silly willy to the music just zoning out after my night at work. Which is something I think I need with the state of my work nowadays. It might be odd for someone whom has written so much about the negativity surrounding Pride to be listening to a Gay Pride Radio. However, it is not really odd at all. The music is a good thing about Pride.
It is nice to just chill out to the music and getting over a night of work. If I had a dance floor in my apartment I would be dancing on the dance floor instead, but, my bed will have to do. It makes remember times in my life when I was not having frustration and anxiety issues. It reminds me of the better parts of my past and it makes me genuinely happy. I am glad I was pointed in the direction of the channel and give big thanks to my friend that told me about it.
I would highly recommend that all my readers to go and give it a listen on Spotify. If you like good dance beats you will love the channel as much as I do.
