A Heavenly Pilgrim's Sanctification: November 2025

One of the people chiming in on homosexuality and being saved is me. I wish to write a clarifying statement on what was said.

When I said I agree with Jessie on conversion is not about converting to Straightness I did not mean one can be homosexual and be a Christian. Nor would I in anyway support an homosexual being allowed into Fellowship in a NT Assembly/Biblical Church.

One cannot identify with and be supportive or affirmative of same sex thoughts not just same sex activity and be saved. As the very thoughts are gross sexual sin not just the action the attraction itself is an abomination.

However, if God Saves you from your homosexuality and you act as a heterosexual in the same gross sexual ways just with the opposite sex and never repent, believe on Christ and see sexual sin for what it is you will be as unsaved and up in the Hell as a homosexual person will go. As both people have not realized their depravity, repented and believed on Christ and on what He has done.

I was Straight from 2014 and tending toward it as a Mostly Heterosexual bisexual from 2012 before God removed my same sex attractions completely. During that time I became addicted to heterosexual pornography and did not even believe there was a God, but I knew homosexuality was not natural or not normal. My realizing this and changing my affections outside of wedlock to a Woman; especially the porn actresses was vile and deplorable sin that would still have kept me from being saved.

If someone whom is homosexual gets the idea that it is their homosexuality alone and not recoginizing their depravity and separation from God and believing On Christ that saves them they are really not getting The Gospel. Not because Gay Christians so called exist and lack the need of mortifying their same sex attractions. Instead it is because they need to do so much more. They need to be mortifying the flesh no matter what its temptations daily and confessing their temptations to The Lord. Which include their opposite sex temptations people that never dealt with Unwanted Same Sex ones have had to deal with for thousands of years.

Sexual sin is sexual sin and affirming an identity based on sexual sins regardless of whether it is set towards the same or opposite sex is not alright. Even if homosexuality is considered abomination which it is. Heterosexuality miscalobrized towards an ungodly line of thought is also disgusting to God and unacceptable.

Both groups need to recognize their depravity, separation from God and repent/believe on/ what Jesus has done for the whole world. Affirming any sin as your identity is the opposite of that recognition, repentance and believing on Christ/in Christ.
